Shifted Remaps uses the information you provide to respond to enquiries, assess your vehicle and arrange requested services. Contact us on 07874 159700 about your information or privacy rights.
What we collect and why
A vehicle lookup sends your registration to our vehicle data provider. We use returned vehicle specifications to help identify the vehicle. A booking request collects your name, phone, optional email, vehicle details, location, preferred appointment and notes. We process these to take steps at your request before agreeing a service and, where a service is agreed, to perform that agreement.
We also use limited security records, including rate limits and administrative audit records, for our legitimate interests in protecting the website, preventing abuse and maintaining accurate business records. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in fault notes.
Where information goes
Authorised business administrators can access booking details. Our hosting and vehicle-data services process information needed for those functions. Live admin alerts show new booking references. Optional desktop alerts appear only after the administrator grants browser permission and contain no customer contact details or fault notes. We do not sell enquiry information or use it for automatic marketing.
Postcode search
When you choose Find postcode, we send only that postcode to Postcodes.io to check the area. We do not send your name, phone or full address to this service. You can skip the search and enter your full address instead.

Cookies and browser storage
An essential session cookie protects forms and admin sign-in. It expires after eight hours. Vehicle details may be kept temporarily in your browser’s session storage to carry them into the booking form; contact details are not stored there. This site does not install advertising or analytics cookies.
Retention and your choices
Vehicle lookup results are cached for up to 24 hours. Booking, job and audit records are retained while needed to handle the enquiry, provide the service, resolve disputes and satisfy applicable record-keeping requirements. You can request access, correction or deletion, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, by calling us. Some records may need to be retained where legal obligations apply.
External links
WhatsApp and other external links open services with their own privacy terms. Clicking a contact link does not automatically send a message.
